A recent study of over 100 women showed that 75% of them tend not to trust an answer from a man with a high pitched or squeaky voice. To clarify, this survey was comprised exclusively of women aged from 18 to 50 but the results were surprising to say the least.

This type of result indicates that a high pitched or squeaky voice actually creates doubt in a womans mind. Whether the question is…”have you had a good day?” or “Were you cheating on me?” The result is the same, if the voice is not crisp deep and the tone is not re-assuring, the tendency is to doubt the truth of the answer given by the man with a high pitched voice.

Further more, the study showed eye contact to be useless when it came to the sound of a squeaky voice. It seems like the old fall back of making eye contact to be of little use in generating credibility, when the voice was weak. But bear in mind, this study was made within the frame work of the male/female dynamic. A study of how men respond to this type of voice weakness has not yet been completed.

Without the capacity to be believed, to foster trust in others, life can often become difficult for men with a weak or high pitched voice. Ultimately, what this survey points to is that for at least 75% of 100 women, a deep crisp voice is the desired way they need to be addressed for them to invest trust in a mans answers. Does this mean getting a permanent crisp deep voice can lead to a better future? Seems logical.

When you make a humming sound, using the deepest tone you currently have, with your head dipped down, your chin to your chest, you can notice something revealing. The minute you make that same exact tone, but lift your head up high, with your chin to the sky, that same tone becomes higher.

What this shows, is that tension is the answer to a deep crisp voice. A voice box can become tense for many reasons and the resulting voice can become quite squeaky or high pitched. This has nothing to do with the size of your vocal chords. When you lifted your head in the exercise above, the vocal chords were stretched tighter, causing the sound of the tone to become higher.

Think of your vocal chords like a string on a guitar. If you have ever seen a guitar close up, you will have noticed that there is a heavy thick string at the top and a light thin string at the bottom. People like Barry White could be associated with the top thick string, and average men may be closer to the bottom thin string.

But the thing is, when you loosen even the bottom thin string, it can begin to sound very deep. Despite its thickness, even the thinnest string can sound quite deep and give a low tone if it is loosened sufficiently.

The quickest way to deepen your speaking voice is to release the tension that must exist in your vocal chords, if your voice is thin or squeaky. The vocal chords are a muscle group that can easily be conditioned and trained to relax and reverberate deeply.

Much has been written and speculated about what women want. It surprises me that somebody just didn’t think of asking one, but then, what would she know, they don’t know what it is they want themselves.

Seducing a woman is one of the most hotly talked about topics on the internet (obviously in male communities) and the “being a jerk” theory seems to be getting a lot of heads nodding. The idea is that women seem to be seduced by certain types of men, the “jerk” types, that disregard them and show no real interest in them.

I don’t know if this is true or not, but I have met a lot of jerks that couldn’t meet a woman at a wall to wall women fest. My own theories are a little more practical however.

I think the one thing most women crave in a man is social power. The idea of targeting a man that has animal and political gravity in a group is not only more likely to be the alpha male, but also would be the one the most attractive girls in the group would pine over.

The quickest and most effective way to demonstrate and receive unchallenged social power is by having a deep and crisp speaking voice. The two things you must have from a group to have the most social power is for them to like you and for them to trust you. This is why, with a little deep voice training, nearly any man in any group can become counted as one of the top level guys that is sought after. Just my thoughts.
