Deepening Your Voice With Persistence

deeper voiceMost men assume there is simply nothing they can do when it comes to deepening their voice.  This is just simply not true, there are plenty of ways one can go about deepening the tone of their voice, through various vocal exercises. While it won’t necessarily be easy, it is entirely possible with the right vocal training.

The fact is, our vocal chords are a muscle group and can be strengthened just like every other muscle group in our bodies. The only difference is, it will take a different kind of exercise, a more concentrated and specific exercise, in order to deepen the voice.  Most of these exercises can take months to see any results with. The reason why it can take such long periods of time for your voice to change, is because most of the exercises that will allow you to do so, are actually geared towards goals other than just making your voice deep.

Most of the vocal training exercises attempt to teach one how to control the vocal chords so they can sing better, A.K.A singing lessons. The problem is, a lot of guys could give a hoot if they can sing, they just want a deeper voice. There are other more motivational type methods that people get confused with such as hypnosis. These methods are not very successful, that is unless the person being hypnotized firmly believes that the hypnosis will work for them. It has been said “You are as you think” and that is the core issue of hypnosis, it only works on those who believe it will. It is simply a method of unleashing your own willpower in a subconscious way.

Another exercise known as elocution, attempts to teach one to speak more eloquently, so they may use their voice more effectively in venues such as job interviews.

All of these exercises really are beating around the bush when it comes to getting a deep voice, and if you are trying to get a deep voice then singing exercises would still be your best bet. However if you are trying to target a specific tone, like a having a deeper voice, then I would suggest you limit the exercises to ones that will help you with this. For example, just walk around all day humming different notes in a deep voice, over time this is a sure fire way to see results. Remember persistence is the key, when it comes to changing any part of your body, not just the voice.
